Jen Kramer - Event Planner from Chicago

A resident of Chicago, Illinois, Jen Kramer is a sales manager at Access DMC, an event planning organization. Before Access DMC, Jen Kramer spent over two decades as an event planner in the public and private sector.

Ms. Kramer began working with the Mayor’s Office of Special Events in the city of Chicago as an operations coordinator in 2000, coordinating activities for the city’s 50 parades. In 2004, the city of Chicago’s Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events hired her as its director of operations to produce and direct over 1,500 private events and 40 city events annually.

For 7 years beginning in 2011, Ms. Kramer was the director of special events at Navy Pier, Inc., where she oversaw the company’s events and programming. In 2017, DePaul University hired her as its director of university events. In this role, she organized presidential and university events for the institution. She also worked with WDNR Museum’s Chicago Ideas Week from 2020-2021, where she helped in the reconstruction of the post-pandemic WDNR museum.

In 2022, Ms. Kramer began her role with Access DMC, a job that involves leading the newly created Chicago team. She builds, curates, and maintains relationships with event vendors and venue operators. She also is a strategic partner who assists in coordinating large-scale corporate events hosting over 10,000 attendees.

Ms. Kramer has a proven track record of organizing award-winning meetings and events. She excels at coordinating impactful programs that culminate in lasting impressions and create meaningful connections for those who attend hthe events.
